Dorian Black
Managing Partner
Dorian Black assumed the role of Managing Partner at UW Winnipeg in the summer of 2022. His career journey began in a small community, and later he moved to Brandon to pursue a degree in business and management. Following his college education, Dorian entered the insurance industry, specializing in the sale of accident, sickness, and life insurance.
After approximately a year and a half in the sales field, Dorian decided to take a temporary hiatus from the workforce. During this break, he relocated to Lake Manitoba First Nation, where he embraced the role of mentoring youth and securing funding for various hockey programs and tournaments. As the young individuals he mentored transitioned into adulthood, Dorian felt the urge to rejoin the workforce.
At UW Winnipeg, we leverage his extensive experience in sales and mentorship and consider him an invaluable addition to our team. Dorian has ambitious goals for the next two years. His objectives include expanding our sales and marketing team, aiming to make it one of the largest in the country. Additionally, he plans to establish a network of individuals to support this growth. Dorian's dedication, leadership, and commitment align perfectly with the spirit of UW Winnipeg as we strive for excellence in the field of sales and marketing.
